We've got a staging site that serves 401s, which is an exact copy of all code on production, including the chartbeat code. At 2 am this morning the chartbeat iPhone app started making a racket, informing me every couple minutes that my site is "down". Needless to say I didn't really appreciate that.

Still not sure why it lit up then... No one was loading pages.
